  1. GIFwatcher 2.1.2 contains the following changes from the 2.1.1 version:
  2.    * Added a feature that displays interlaced images by expanding the earliest
  3.      received scan lines into the gaps in between. Too bad there aren't many
  4.      interlaced images out there -- this is a fun feature.
  5.    * Made some interface changes.
  6.    * Recompiled with updated THINK C. Older version of THINK C had some
  7.      compiler bugs that could have potentially caused problems (though I
  8.      know of no specific examples).
  9.    * Fixed the documentation that had been mangled by Microsoft Word's flaky
  10.      conversion of Word files into MacWrite files. I just plain gave up on
  11.      using curly apostophes -- Word dutifully strips them from the MacWrite
  12.      versions of a file -- as well as other characters like bullets. You can
  13.      load the current file into Word just fine. Word seems to do its damage
  14.      when you save in MacWrite format.

  16. GIFwatcher 2.1.1 contains the following changes from the 2.1.0 version:
  17.    * Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when GIFwatcher auto-opened a GIF
  18.      file while running in the background.

  24.    * Much faster decompression for most files.
  25.    * Can read GIF89a format.

  28.    * Improved selection and scaling features.
  29.    * Fixed bug that caused a crash if the user quit GIFwatcher while in full-
  30.      display mode.
  31.    * Separate 68020 version no longer included (or needed).

  35.    * Fixed an obscure screen glitch -- using "Faster GIF Open..." on
  36.      a partial GIF file while the status text was hidden would cause

  38.    * Improved Command-period cancellation response.
  39.    * Added a note to the documentation for Microphone users -- Hold down
  40.      the option key when selecting "Open GIF..." if you intend to use
  41.      the automatic-open feature.

  43. GIFwatcher 2.0.2 contains the following changes from the 2.0.1 version:

  45.     * Added ability to Save PICT ID = 0 resource files (start-up screen
  46.       format).
  47.     * Added image color-inversion.
  48.     * Added preference choice for allowing menu bar to remain when using
  49.       full-display mode. This may help with the incompatibility some user's
  50.       have had using GIFwatcher with AOL.
  51.     * Fixed bug that causes crash when PICT saves were attempted on Macs
  52.       without Color Quickdraw.

  54. GIFwatcher 2.0.1 contains the following changes from the 2.0 version:

  56.     * Added an automatic-open feature so that new GIFs are detected and
  57.       displayed without user intervention. Just start the download and
  58.       and the image will appear.
  59.     * Enabled Cut/Copy under the edit menu to copy images to the clipboard.
  60.     * Fixed a scrolling bug.
  61.     * Fixed a bug related to using "Faster GIF Open..." on empty files.
